Trent Bridge have been invited to played a match against Lord Carnarvon's XI at Highclere Castle in 2018

Trent Bridge have another landmark moment in their short history as during their 23rd season in 2018 the team will travel to Berkshire to play Lord Carnarvon's XI in the picturesque setting of Highclere Castle.

The cricket ground and stunning pavilion situated in the grounds of the 5,000 acres estate is home to the Carnarvon family.

Highclere Castle best known in recent times as the main location for the British television period drama Downton Abbey whilst previously it was also the setting for British comedy series Jeeves and Wooster, which starred comedians Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry.

The team are delighted to be given this opportunity and look forward to the playing the fixture in late June.
